Time permitting, this hour-long workshop will include personalized feedback from the instructor.
Artists should bring a copy of their most recent artist statement and 2-4 images of works that represent their artistic practice.
About the Instructor
Shama Rahman is a marketing specialist who works at the Whitney Museum of American Art and previously gained experience at the Guggenheim Museum and Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). She has developed successful outreach campaigns for the exhibition "Transitions: New Photography from Bangladesh" at the Bronx Museum and the West Coast contemporary art magazine Carla. In addition to creating content strategies about exhibitions and institutional programming, Shama provides support to creatives in the visual art community with individual job, residency, and higher education applications.
