Art and Content I: Cycle #3 with Co-Host Holly Hagar

Art and Content is viewed as an extension of Dr. Charlotte Kent’s popular professional workshop series on articulating a distinct artistic identity. Here we focus on developing a clear concept and revising in response to critique.

For the workshop’s Fall 2019 iteration, participants will present work as it relates to one of three overarching topics: Environment, Technology, or Community. In each session, participants will present a work (an image sent for a group slide show) to discuss with the group and an invited guest co-host.

The guest co-host of the third cycle of the workshop on Dec 16th is Holly Hagar, art collector and founder of the online art database Curatious.

The workshop’s overarching aim is to aid the development of a cohesive body of work with publishable corollary artist statements (completed during the 2020 spring and summer season) for subsequent adjudicated exhibition opportunities with Equity Gallery. For more information, click here!

Please note that all current NYAE members are eligible for a promo code for discounted tickets. Contact info@nyartistsequity to access the promo code.
